How do I add a new Product?

To add a New Product, tap Manage then tap Products 

Tap the green + Icon

Complete the following fields:

NameEnter the name of the Product
InformationEnter any information for your own internal reference
CategoryTap the drop-down arrow to see a list of Product Categories (you must first create a Product Category). Select a Product Category from the list
PriceEnter the price of the Product
Enter the cost price of this product
SKUEnter the SKU, if relevant
BarcodeEnter the Barcode, if relevant

Please note: If you have your mPOP barcode reader already connected (see How do I connect my Star mPOP unit?) you can use that to scan your barcode

LoyaltySlide to the right to allow Loyalty points to be accrued from the purchase of this product, see How do I set up the Loyalty Program?
TaxesEnable by sliding the button to the right next to the relevant Tax. Enabling the Tax means that Tax will be applied to that Product, see How do I add a new Tax?


Your newly added Product will appear in your Product List, under the relevant Product Category
