The process for creating a Reservation for a Service is exactly the same, whether that Service has an allocated Resource or not. For instructions on creating a Reservation, see: How do I create a new Reservation?
You do not need to make any extra changes to the Reservation, as the system will calculate and include all Resource allocations for you
There are two ways to create a reservation that includes a resource, use the system availability and entering the availability manually, which overrides the system availability
It is only possible to change a resource on a reservation when entering the availability manually
USING SYSTEM AVAILABILITY
When selecting an available time slot for the Reservation, any allocated Resources will display alongside the Reservation details in the list of availability:
Once the time slot is selected, the allocated Resource will display in the Services section of the Reservation:
When your Reservation is complete, it will appear on your Bookings screen with one entry for the Employee and another entry for the Resource:
ENTER AVAILABILITY MANUALLY OPTION
Rather than selecting from the available time slots, it is possible to select Enter Manually instead.
If you choose Enter Manually here, you are able to force the system to book a specific time and/or allocate a specific Resource, for example if you need to double book for any reason
Be mindful when using this option as the system will allow double booking
Once you select Enter Manually, tapping directly on the Resource will allow you to re-select an alternate Resource for this reservation:
Tap on the the relevant Resource in the list, followed by SAVE
A double-booked Resource will show on the booking screen as below:
